This work was made in repose to the 13 countries that still have the death penalty for homosexuality. Viewers can walk across if they wish and with each passing foot the work slowly degrades.

If All Ice Melts 2019

When flown the line on the balloon is 70m above sea level, the height therefore changes depending on location. At the Chelsea degree show it was 65.8m above the parade ground, high enough for the Civil Aviation Authority to have to be informed!

The work is displayed alongside 12 blue deckchairs, each with a spray painted #IfAllIceMelts. When first installed the deckchairs are set like a clock face emphasising the aspect of time in relation to the piece.
